Conveyor Systems - Power Distribution
Responsible for designing the power distribution system for a ~2100 linear feet conveyor belt. The system voltage had 480Y/277v and 208Y/120 3-phase parameters. Conveyor consisted of 54 3-phase AC to DC rectifiers of 900 watts each and 68 EC310 Interroll DC motors. Project involved three power distribution panels to power all of the scanners, power supplies, motors and VLM switches. As well as the programmable logic cabinet. System was accounted for its in-rush current, full load amps, peak power, voltage drop and power flow.
Three Phase Service Upgrade
Upgraded single-phase 400-amp service to three-phase 600-amp capacity by meticulously considering all existing conditions. Formulated a comprehensive design concept, coordinated utility arrangements, and managed contractors. Acted as the client's representative, overseeing the project from its inception to final delivery and construction.
Commercial Building Electrical Design Upgrade
Upgraded the entire electrical building design. Design included lighting, power, and service upgrades.
